Language Arts
The importance of meaningful dialogue between adults and children can't be overestimated. We want our pupils to see, hear about, read and discuss a wide range of topics and ideas as often as possible. We've provided here some examples of open-ended questions you could use as conversation starters. For more ideas on ways to foster genuine curiosity about new and different things try reading something completely new with your child, or get out of the house. Suggestions for day-trips can be found under out and about.
